Yes, the actor who essayed the principal role of<em> Kareena</em> in Zee's once primetime show, <em> Kareena Kareena </em> is currently creating quite a stir in Punjabi cinema. And now this lissom lady is all set to gain foothold in the mecca of entertainment, Bollywood. She is doing a main stream Hindi Masala film, <em> Jane Bhi Do Yaaron</em> opposite Kapil Sharma, who is speculated to be her boyfriend and brother of big wig director Anil Sharma.

It's going good for Zee TV once again. The channel has managed to rope in audiences with<em> Saat Phere </em>and<em> Kasamh Se</em> which have proved to be a real competition for the rival channels. Now, it's the turn of <em>Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan</em>, which was launched with a lot of fanfare to counter Star's Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki in the 10 pm slot. A few months back the show invited a lot of flak for its regressive representation of women but now it seems to be getting on the right track. Now, its back in news once more.

The tall and handsome Sandeep Rajora who is currently seen playing Siddharth in<em> Sati </em>(Sahara One) has recently shot for three commercials. The first one being for Lifebuoy Handwash in which he plays a doctor, second is for ICICI Bank as a young executive and the third ad is for Dawat Basmati Rice where he essays an army officer (TV actor Shweta Ghulati also features in it).

Himanshi Choudhary is one of the lucky few to have bagged Tony and Deeya Singh's new Zee show Jab Love Hua. Himanshi has had quite a long journey in the five years she's spent in the television industry. She started with Balaji's Kahin To Milenge on Sahara One, followed by Kutumb, Lavanya, Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand, Kareena Kareena, Kasshish and Bhabhi. This Delhi girl has been associated with some good shows and is confident about Jab Love Hua where she plays a character similar to Basanti in Sholay. Kavita Shyam chats up the pretty lady. <strong>

This is a gimmick that has been a trademark of the Star family - cross promotion of shows aired on the same channel. Now, Zee too joins the fray. Protagonists of different serials will now play cameos on <em>Tumhari Disha</em> and the sizzle will be provided by a hot item number.

While there are many twists happening in <em>Kareena Kareena</em>, there is a special one that you can look out for. The buzz is that after Jassi of <em>Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin</em>, Kareena of <em>Kareena Kareena</em> is going for a make over. Kulraaj Kaur Randhawa, the dimpled lady who plays the lead in Kareena Kareena sounds excited about this twist, as she exclaims, "the show is always on a run. It never runs slow. And so is Kareena's life."

Recently, Abhishek Bachchan popped in for a guest appearance in one of the '<em>Kareena Kareena</em>' episodes on Zee. The channel and production house have now gone a step ahead and roped in superstar Shah Rukh Khan to prop up the show. Prem (Shahrukh, namesake of SRK, who plays a radio jockey and Kareena's friend) will organise a meeting between Kareena (Kulraj Kaur) and SRK. When this writer asked Zee creative head Vivek Behl to confirm if the channel is bringing in a bigger name than Abhishek, he laughed it off but sayed it all. "I know what you are referring to," he quipped.
