Ram Kapoor and Anand Raj in Jhalak…

With the biggest dance reality show just around the corner viewer interest is at its peak. If the last season saw the likes of Cyrus Broacha, Mini Mathur, Prachi Desai, Ronit Roy we wonder whether this year’s contestants will match up in stature and talent. The first few names that roll out are quite interesting and we share them with you. This season of <em>Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 2</em> has <em>Kasamh Se</em> actor Ram Kapoor and music director Anand Raj Anand. Strong speculations also suggest that cricketer Yuvraj Singh may also participate in the show.

Is Ram Kapoor leaving Kasamh Se?

Balaji Telefilms’ <em>Kasamh Se</em> received the best continuing daily award at the <em> 8th Indian Telly Award</em> . While the show is expected to last further, there’s a huge question whether lead actor Ram Kapoor will be part of it. If sources are to be believed, the actor has made his mind to opt out of the show.

Mansi is the new Pia in Kasamh Se

The search for Roshni Chopra’s replacement in <em> Kasamh Se </em> is finally over. Mansi Verma, who was last seen in Sony’s <em> Arslaan </em>, will be the new Pia. Confirming the news, Creative Head Ankit Nagpal says, “It is Mansi Verma who has replaced Roshni Chopra. Today is the first day of her shoot.” The hunt for Pia has been taking place over the last few weeks. The production house had earlier finalised Ashlesha Sawant but the channel wasn’t comfortable with this choice and they asked the production house to bring Roshni back.

Ashlesha in and out of Kasamh Se

Television throws up many surprises. Decisions are made and then revoked at the last hour. That’s precisely what happened with actor Ashlesha Sawant who was initially picked to play the character of Pia in <em> Kasamh Se </em> but then replaced by the original Pia i.e. Roshni Chopra. If sources are to be believed, Ashlesha was finalised by the production house (Balaji) and she supposedly even shot Pia’s comeback scene. However, the channel (Zee TV) intervened and asked the production house to get the original Pia (Roshni Chopra).

Roshni re-enters Kasamh Se

Roshni Chopra is going to make her second return to <em>Kasamh Se </em> in the year 2008. Way back in March, Roshni obliged mentor Ekta Kapoor. It looks Roshni is in the mood to oblige again. Talking on her comeback, Roshni says, “Yes, I’m making another return to the show.. The story demanded Pia to return and so I was more than happy to oblige. However I’ll be only shooting for a week or so. Thereafter, I’d be replaced by someone else. What the producers wanted was to have the original Pia initially as that will connect with viewers. After few episodes, they’ll have my arrangement.”

Pallavi to bid adieu to Kasamh Se

After Roshni Chopra and Ashwini Kalsekar , Pallavi Subhash was the new vamp in <em> Kasamh Se </em> . Meera (Pallavi Subhash) is a real threat to Bani (Gurdeep Kohli). She makes sure that nothing goes right in the life of Bani and her kids. But Bani’s torment is soon coming to an end as Pallavi’s character Meera will exit from the show. Our sources inform that Meera will be thrown out of the Walia house. Jigyasa (Ashwini Kalsekar), who was against Bani at one point of time helps Bani in throwing Meera from the house. This will lead to Pallavi’s exit from<em> Kasamh Se</em>.

Jigyasa resurfaces in Kasamh Se

Small screen’s most dreaded <em> bahu</em> Jigyasa is set come out of jail. Yes, Ashwini Kalsekar marks her second return to </em> Kasamh Se</em> in the last one year. Confirming the news herself Ashwini says, “Yes, I am coming back to the show. I reckon I’ll start shooting from Monday. However, please don’t ask me how my track will now shape up as I’m yet to meet with the creatives. In my last scene, I went to the jail so this time I’ll come out of it.”

Its curtains down for Prachi

The actress who won hearts as Bani in <em> Kasamh se</em> and also won the <em> Jhalak Dikhla ja </em> title will no longer be seen on the small screen. Atleast for now. Prachi has also been evicted from the reality show <em> Yeh Hai Jalwa</em> where she is seen currently.
