Ashwini denies returning to Kasamh Se; for now though!

Trust actress Ashwini Kalsekar to guard her secrets very well. So, while close friend Jaya Bhattacharya has admitted to being replaced by her in the show, a diplomatic Ashwini chose to break her silence in an exclusive chat with us. "Nothing is confirmed as yet. I haven't had any meeting with the production house nor have I spoken to the press." says Ashwini. The vamp says that things will clear in the next 48 hours and she will make an official announcement by Monday.

Kasamh Se… Jaya Bhattacharya gets the boot !

It pays to be loyal. However, Jaya Bhattarcharya's loyalty to Balaji hasn't yielded the desired results. The actress, who had replaced Ashwini Kalsekar in <em>Kasamh Se</em>, has been unceremoniously dumped from the show. Surprisingly, the production house didn't even deem it fit to inform this to her. Worse, the actress just got to know this from a friend of hers. Apparently, Jaya is being replaced by the same person (Ashwini Kalsekar), from whom she took over as Jigyasa.

Kasamh Se, its Pawan Shankar

Pawan Siddhhanth Shankar fans are in for some delight. Sources indicate that his role of Karan Sablok in the TRP topping Balaji Telefilms show <em>Kasamh Se</em> on Zee TV is going to be expanded. And he is going to have a relationship with Bani. What would be the nature of the relationship is a big question lurking across the show? Would it take on a romantic hue would be answered in the coming days.

Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan… Changing tracks?.

It's going good for Zee TV once again. The channel has managed to rope in audiences with <em> Saat Phere</em> and<em> Kasamh Se</em> which have proved to be a real competition for the rival channels. Now, it's the turn of <em> Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan,</em> which was launched with a lot of fanfare to counter Star's <em> Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki</em> in the 10 pm slot. A few months back the show invited a lot of flak for its regressive representation of women but now it seems to be getting on the right track. Now, its back in news once more.

Nigaar Khan takes a break from Kasamh Se

Nigaar Khan rose to fame as the vicious Barnali in Zee's <em> Kasamh Se</em>. The latest about the show is that Barnali's track has been put on a backburner for the time being. So, when we quizzed the actor about the same she said, "Yeah it is a fact that my character in <em> Kasamh Se</em> has taken a back seat for now. I may or may not be part of the project depending upon what the production house decides. So, far I have not been informed of any development on that front"

Ram adjudged best actor, Aamna best actress………………

It was the most awaited event of the year! The Sixth Indian Telly Awards held at Chitrakoot grounds in suburban Mumbai on 24th November were attended by the who's who of tellydom. Along with great dance performances from leading actors like Sangeeta Ghosh, Eijaz Khan, Mona Singh amongst others, the Indian tellys honoured the best talent in various categories on television. Till party do us apart!

The Indian Telly Awards 2006 post event party held at a pub named Some Place Else in suburban Mumbai rocked till the wee hours of the morning with the who's who of the television industry. The party was well attended by actors who headed to the party place from the Chitrakoot grounds where the awards were held.
