Kiran Karmarkar was Colors' first choice to play Madhubala's father Balraj Chaudhary

Kiran Karmarkar, who is currently seen as Tej Singh Bundela in Colors’ Uttaran (FilmFarm Productions) was initially finalised to play Madhubala’s father Balraj Chaudhary but after he refused to do the same, the role was later taken up by Raj Zutshi in <em>Madhubala-Ek Ishk Ek Junoon</em>.
