Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009 winner, Vaishali Made has done it again,snatched victory away from Abhijeet Ghoshal of West Bengal. The Mega Challenge finale which had Maharashtra locking horns with West Bengal was hosted by Sonu Niigaam, Shaan, Aditya Narayan and Afsha-Dhairya. The grand finale was judged by veteran music compser Anand<em>ji</em>, Suresh Wadkar and Sonu Niigaam. Abhigyan Das from West Bengal was declared as the Super Singer of the series. He walked away with a brand new Maruti Estilo.

Kolkata secured the second position in the Sa Re Ga Ma Mega Challenge finals. It joins Maharashtra in the finals. The grand finale of the show would mark the completion of 1000 episodes of Zee TV's flagship reality show. The second semi- finals was between Kolkata and Assam A source informs, "This weekend, the show will air the semi-finals between Kolkata and Assam. Kumar Sanu and Udit Narayan were the celebrity judges for the episode. They unanimously felt that Kolkata's performance was better than Assam. So now Kolkata will fight against Maharashtra in the finals."

This weekend yet another team comprising of talented singers will get evicted from <a href= http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/assam-defeats-rajasthan-mega-challenge>Mega Challenge</a>. The clash is between Punjab and Kolkata led by Tarun Sagar and Abhijit Ghoshal respectively. And Punjab will be evicted from the show as Kolkata performs better.

Post the eviction of Madhya Pradesh yet another team was evicted on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Mega Challenge. The battle was between Rajasthan and Assam which was represented by leaders Raja Hassan and Joy Mukherjee respectively where Assam emerged victorious.

This weekend the team of Madhya Pradesh will be evicted from Zee TV’s Mega Challenge. The team of Madhya Pradesh led by Sumedha Karmahe was pitched against Parthiv Gohil’s team representing Gujarat. This is the second eviction on the show. Informs a source, “Sumedha’s team lost out to Parthiv’s. Singer Pritam Chakraborty and songstress Sadhana Sargam were the celebrity judges on the show. Pritam was stumped by wonder kid Aamir Hafiz’s stupendous performance. So impressed was he that he went on stage and lifted him.”
