Sophie to bring you the spice from Fame Gurukul on MTV!

MTV's very own Sophiya Choudhary will be hosting <em>Fame Gurukul @ MTV</em>, an outcome of the channel's programming and promotion deal with SET (Sony Entertainment Television). The channel seems to be endeavoring relentlessly to push <em>Fame Gurukul</em>. The show will go on air from the 11th of July on MTV at 9 pm for 15 minutes from Monday to Wednesday and for half-an-hour on Thursday and Friday.

Abhijeet Sawant: India's Idol

<em>Abhijeet Sawant romps home with Amit Sana being the No 2</em>, reports Vickey Lalwani. The look of tension was noticeable on his face, even through his most pleasing thirty-twos, as anchors Aman Verma and Mini Mathur were poised to make the announcement. And they kept the tension going, taking their time before announcing the winner. A million thoughts prayers must have sprinted through his mind. But the exultation that followed when the duo announced his name as the winner was also worth a looksee. Sonu Nigam hugged him, as did Farah Khan, and Anu Malik.

Rahul Vaidya will sing in 'Shaadi No.1'

It's champagne time for <em>Indian Idol</em> Abhijeet Sawant, no doubt. But there's another lad who is celebrating with the bubbly too: Rahul Vaidya, one of the last four, who will start his playback singing career in Vashu Bhagnani's <em>Shaadi No.1</em>. Vashu Bhagnani has asked Vaidya to lend his singing talent (unquestionable) to his forthcoming film Shaadi No.1 directed by David Dhawan. Vaidya has agreed.
