MUMBAI: The brutal killing of a pregnant elephant has triggered a nationwide outrage. Celebrities as well as commoners have been taking to social media to condemn the act and express their grief.
The elephant ate a pineapple stuffed with explosives. The tragic visuals of the elephant have broken everyone’s heart.
Is humanity at stake? The death of the pregnant elephant in Kerala has led to many questions.
Personalities from sports world including Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Harbhajan Singh, Geeta Phogat, among others have mourned the death of the elephant.

Virat Kohli wrote on Instagram, “Appalled to hear about what happened in Kerala. Let's treat our animals with love and bring an end to these cowardly acts.”
Harbhajan Singh stated, “I honestly can’t get over this! It’s hurting so bad to think of what she went through.. I pray whoever did this gets the harshest of punishment.. are these inhuman people just born this way or is it upbringing??”
