MUMBAI : The shoots of television shows have begun after a long wait of around 100 days. A lot of precautionary measures were taken to ensure the safety and security of the cast and crew. Despite taking extreme precautions, some actors have tested positive of the virus. We already know about actor Parth Samthaan contracting the virus after which the shoots of the shows were stalled. 

Recently, we reported about Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai actress Saumya Tandon’s personal hair-dresser contracting the virus post which the actress and the hair-dresser were asked to quarantine themselves.

Well, now we’ve learned that another crew member Gopal, from the same show, has been tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Gopal was Saumya Tandon’s make-up man is what we hear.

A source close to the project revealed, “Gopal is receiving medical aid and has been quarantined. Precautions on the sets of the show have been increased so that the cast and crew are safe."

Meanwhile the production house stated:

It is extremely unfortunate that a personal staff member of our artist has contracted the virus. The concerned staff member was tested a few days before the shoot and was directed not to report on the sets until further notice.

We have recommended all artists, crew members, and staff to immediately self-isolate in the event that they exhibit any of the symptoms associated with the virus. All precautionary measures have been implemented at the sets, and as per government guidelines, the set undergoes complete sanitization regularly.
