Ajay Chaudhary is engaged to Jyoti Makkar

Ajay Chaudhary, who is currently doing Anhoniyo Ka Andhera, is engaged to his girlfriend of two years, Jyoti Makkar of Betiyaan fame. The two met on the sets of Love Story where Jyoti was playing his college professor and he falls in love with her. The love spilt over to off-screen too. While on the sets, they first became friends and it did not take long for the two to get together. Ajay always knew he wanted to be with her hence without any further delay one fine day he dropped in at Jyoti’s place in the US. As he says, “I actually went saat samundar paar to get her. She was staying with her family in the US then and I went there and kept my proposal in front of her family. Her family took some time to decide but the answer was ‘yes’ and so we got engaged on my birthday.” The two got engaged on November 25 last year where only family and friends were invited. When asked why the engagement was kept under wraps for so long and he says, “There was no reason to go around talking about it. People get to know when the right time comes. It’s just that before the engagement I did not want to confirm anything, now I am.” The two will be getting married by this year-end or early next year as he says, “The wedding will happen in December or January.”
