Anjali Mukhi stupefied on being offered 'motherly' roles

Anjali Mukhi who made her debut with Khwaish on Sony TV has acted in a variety of shows such as I Love My India on Life OK, Saas Bina Sasural (Colors) and Chhanchhan on Sony TV. Currently the lady is seen essaying a vital role in Pearl Grey’s Doli Armaanon Ki on Zee TV. However, the actress is pleasantly amused at being offered ‘aunty’ kind of roles. Talking her heart out, she said, “I am content pursuing the shows I am offered, but I would be happy if I got to essay a role which makes me look younger. I do not look old and there is an extra effort put to make me dress fully-clothed so that I look much elder than I appear in my shows. I want to essay roles which give me the look I adorn naturally instead of that extra effort.” But why is the beautiful Anjali being offered only these roles? Perplexed about the issue, she laughed as she went on to guess, “May be I have the attributes of a mother. Since I am married I guess I am being offered these kind of roles.” We hope your wishes come true Anjali!!!
