MUMBAI: There has been news doing rounds about Colors’ Barrister Babu taking a leap. It has been reported that as per the new rules set up by the government, no child artist will be allowed on the sets and hence Colors plans to introduce a leap in their show Barrister Babu. This means that the 8-year-old Aura Bhatnagar, who plays the role of Bondita, will not be permitted to shoot. There is also news pertaining to Saath Nibhana Sathiya and Bigg Boss 13 fame Devoleena Bhattacharjee being in talks to play grown-up Bondita in the show.

However, TellyChakkar mentioned about the show will most likely not take a leap and makers are yet to take a final call. They are still looking out for alternatives.

Now, an actress from Barrister Babu named Pallavi Mukherjee, who depicts the role of Sampoorna, confirmed the news and shared, “It’s all rumour. The show isn’t taking a leap as no such kind of intimation has come from the production house or channel. In fact we all are expected to begin our shooting by the end of this month and we are quite excited looking forward to meeting the cast. Also, Aura is 10-years old so I don’t think it would create any kind of trouble. The show is quite popular and she can’t be replaced.”
