Bingo? What is it?

The promos are on and the celebrities, well, they too are lining up to play National Night Bingo with Abhishek Bachchan. But what is the game? TellyChakkar tries to bring you the format of the show which is based on the original format owned by FOX and which began in the US. It goes something like this: A studio audience can play along with the contestant, who could either be a celebrity or a commoner. The studio audience will be provided red, white and blue cards and so will be the contestant. Only those having cards with similar numbers are eligible to win prizes. If they do not match, then they have to play a few indoor games, and will have to at least twice draw certain numbers which will make them win. The contestant has to finish the indoor game as fast as he can so that he can get the ‘bingo’ card. Then that contestant can win one of the various prizes in cash or in gifts. Otherwise one among the studio audience gets the chance to win if he or she has successfully completed the game first. Losers do not get anything. TV audience can also play this game by getting cards available on the game’s official website. They can claim their prizes on the given contact numbers.
