Disha Vakani to RETURN in the Raksha Bandhan special episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah?

MUMBAI: SAB TV’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is undoubtedly one of the most loved shows on television today.

The show has received accolades for its tight script and the acting prowess of the cast. We thoroughly enjoy watching Jethalal, Daya and the extended cast spread their charm on television. Each episode makes our funny bones tickle and we can't have enough of watching the show. Infact all the characters of the show are given equal importance and have interesting characteristic traits which we absolutely admire.

Although every character is adored by the audience in equal proportion, Jethalal’s wife Daya, played by Disha Vakani, was arguably the most adored. We all have grown-up watching her say ‘Hey maa, mataji’ and 'Tapu ke papa'.

Last year, Disha as Dayaben gave a glimpse of her during Navratri celebrations in the show. However, it was just a small appearance and everyone is now curious to know when Disha will start shooting full-fledged.

However, we hear that in most probability Disha will be seen in the Raksha Bandhan special episode in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

Actor Mayur Vakani, who plays Daya’s brother in the show, are also real life siblings. Mayur has returned from Ahmedabad to Mumbai to shoot for Taarak Mehta. Disha's bonding with her on-screen brother Sundar lal is something that we all enjoy watching.

Well, it looks like viewers will finally get to see bhai-behen Sunderlal and Daya’s lovely bond again in the show.

Let’s keep our fingers crossed and wish to see the duo back in the show!
