MUMBAI: Divya Agarwal has carved a strong niche for herself in both television and digital entertainment, becoming a household name with her standout performances on various reality shows.
Gaining early recognition through MTV Splitsvilla and Roadies, it was her powerful stint on Bigg Boss OTT that truly cemented her place in the industry. Her fierce personality and commanding screen presence ultimately led her to emerge as the winner of Bigg Boss OTT Season 1.
In a recent heartfelt interview, Divya revisited some emotional memories from her time on the reality series Ace of Space, particularly recalling her late co-contestant Danish Zehen.
The popular YouTuber and influencer had shared the screen with Divya in the Vikas Gupta-hosted show before his untimely demise in 2018.
Speaking about their bond, Divya shared, “I’ll always carry the regret that I never got the chance to meet him outside the show. Initially, we were in different rooms, so it took some time to understand him. But as our friendship grew, I really began to admire him. He was incredibly talented, and back then, YouTubers like him were doing such meaningful content.”
Tragically, Danish passed away in a devastating road accident in December 2018. He was just 21 years old. Reports stated that the accident occurred near Vashi, Navi Mumbai, while he was returning from a wedding. His death was announced to the housemates on the show by host Vikas Gupta, leaving them – and the wider public – in utter shock.
A rising digital star, Danish had amassed over one million followers on Instagram and was known for his style, charm, and engaging content. His sudden passing sent shockwaves across social media, with fans mourning the loss of a young and promising talent.
