MUMBAI: Pratham Kunwar is a prominent actor who has been in some really great shows.
Pratham Kunwar is known for his performance as a negative character in Guddan – Tumse Na Ho Payega. He was later seen as a positive character in Humkadam.
The actor played a grey role in Meet: Badlegi Duniya Ki Reet. He is currently seen as Rocky in the show Udti Ka Naam Rajjo.

The show is about Rajjo, an athletically-gifted girl from a village, who encounters Arjun, a rich but angry man, who saves her life during a rough patch. However, they have to deal with societal boundaries to be together.
TellyChakkar got in touch with the actor and spoke about his journey, his character Rocky, and his birthday plans.
Would you say that you have played characters that lie in the grey shade?
I have played roles that have been in a mix of both. I have played the grey roles for my past 3 shows but before that, I did 4 mythological serials and that is how my image was in the minds of people because whenever I went to play sports or any place, people would call me Prabhu, even though it is in good way. I really needed to break that mold, and luckily Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega came along. I have played grey characters for sure but they have had some comic flavors to it. In Rajjo, I don’t think it really is in a gray area right now but it can happen in the future.
With the world of OTT expanding, there is no limit to the kind of content that one can create or watch. Would you like to explore the medium of OTT?
Of course, exploring OTT is a must, and people have gotten to showcase their talent more. The mold of a star and a hero has changed now because your talent matters and external factors don’t have an effect. I would love to explore new opportunities and definitely would want to work in OTT before moving on to movies. I think OTT is the future of entertainment.
Are any new projects coming up that fans should know about?
Being on a TV show is a full-time job and since we have seven days of telecasts, it is not really possible to do parallel projects. I can think of what the future holds, though. I will definitely look for things in the future but right now, my focus is on Rajjo.
Pratham is currently playing the role of Rocky in the show ‘Udti Ka Naam Rajjo’. He made his debut with the show ‘Siya Ke Ram’.
