TellyChakkar got in touch with the actress and asked her if it is important to be a COLORS face to win the show, and reveals what she thinks about this season's contestants as compared to her season.
Are you following Bigg Boss Season 16?
Yes, I have been following Bigg Boss 16 since the beginning of the show. I only missed a few episodes recently due to the shoot, but I will catch up on Voot.
What do you think about the contestants of this season as compared to yours?
Even in this season, the contestants are really like they were in Season 11. I don’t find anyone fake; everyone is true. Shiv is a good contestant and he can win the show. Ankit Gupta was also good; he was playing in a dignified way, but then you don’t know what Bigg Boss wants. Archana is the only one who is giving content to the show. Although her language is bad, in the house, no one can speak well. That house is only that way, and in the end, the channel will decide who will be the winner.
Who are the top three contestants according to you?
I have not seen many episodes, and no, I haven’t voted for anyone. But in the past, I did vote for Abdu, Sumbul, and Shiv as they were the nominated contestants of the show.
Do you think to win the show you have to be a Colors face?
To be honest, I don’t know that. If you take my case, I wasn’t the face of Colors, but I still won the show. That credit goes to my fans that unconditionally voted for me and helped me win. For me, the first credit goes to my fans, and then to the channel who would make the final decision.
Well, there is no doubt that Shilpa was one of the strongest contestants on the show and she did play well and hence was the winner of the show.
