What are your Father’s Day plans this year?

“My father has always had a passion for travel,” Garvita shared with a smile. “So this year, I’m planning a little getaway for him — probably to Lonavala or a similar peaceful spot. It’s my way of giving him a break and making the day a bit more special.”

Tell us about a childhood memory with your father that’s stayed with you.

“I share an incredibly close bond with my father. It's a relationship that’s been built on love, trust, and mutual respect,” she expressed warmly. “While he may appear strict and disciplined on the outside, when it comes to his children, he’s all heart. Fathers have this unique way of evolving with time — their tough exterior slowly softens, and they become more expressive in their love.”

Garvita added, “He’s worked tirelessly throughout his life, often for hours on end. Now that his health needs more attention, I’ve taken up the responsibility of looking after him. As parents grow older, we slowly step into their shoes — becoming their support, their caretakers. And honestly, he’s become even more adorable with age.”

Speaking fondly of her early years, Garvita recalled, “He’s always had a large social circle. I remember as a child, being part of his social outings, get-togethers, and parties — he ensured we lacked nothing. Those moments are etched in my heart forever.”
