In a candid chat with TellyChakkar.com, Aradhana opened up on how she bagged the show. She said, “Bagging Aladdin… is a long story. I was in my hometown Ranchi, when I came to know that I’ve been short-listed for the character. My casting director was thinking that I was in Mumbai and he mentioned to me that the makers are looking out for actresses only from Mumbai and even then, I didn’t reveal to him that I was in Ranchi. I decided to take the leap of faith and land in Mumbai. While my mother and my sister were quite apprehensive about me travelling to Mumbai in pandemic, they later understood my passion and allowed me to travel. I landed in Mumbai and fell extremely sick and just before a day of look test, I recovered. I feel it’s all destiny and how much one can push themselves. It was my first decent acting gig and I wanted to make sure I grab this opportunity. After a lot of hurdles, even after an amazing look test, I was not sure about bagging the part but luckily, I received a call from the casting director informing me that I’ve been selected. I'm quite happy and feel blessed to have started my acting career with such a prestigious show and such a powerful role."

Here's wishing Aradhana all the best for her future endeavours.
