MUMBAI: The dancer and actress Vrushika Mehta is better known for playing Sharon Rai Prakash in Channel V's Dil Dosti Dance and Puchki/Devika Ghosh in Zee TV's Yeh Teri Galiyan. The actress was last seen as Dr Riddhima in Star Plus' popular and long-running show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
TellyChakkar got in touch with Vrushika and asked about her acting career, pros and cons of social media and more…
What's keeping you busy these days? “I'm making reels and digital content these days. Basically, I'm happy as an influencer right now.”

Are you looking out for some concrete work? “No, I haven't auditioned for any television show lately. I'm looking forward to working in digital space now.”
Staying active on social media is a trend, so does that pressurize you? “No, I think if you enjoy doing it then there's no pressure. It's your choice how you want to explore social media. But, to judge anybody's talent based on their followers is incorrect.”
How do you feel about your colleagues getting new work and putting their best self out there? “I just feel happy for everybody! Dil Dosti Dance has been the best experience we got. Shantanu was always hard-working so it feels good to see him succeed through Gangubai.”
Do you think D3 should be remade in digital space? “We had a lockdown series for D3, if our well-wishers want us to be back then I'll be happy to play Sharon again.”
