All the shows on star plus have this uncanny similarity between them, the characters don't call each other with the names that have been scripted for them instead of that they have these unique nicknames for each other that have turned absolutely catchy and interesting for the audience to grab.
In the show Anupamaa, Bapuji calls Mamaji Yaadon Ki Baraat, Kinjal is known as Kinju baby and Paritosh is known as Toshu, Leela calls Rakhi Dave as Naagin, Kavya as Maide ki Katori. Kavya calls Vanraj V, Anuj as AK and for Pakhi Kavya is her bestie and Samar is Winter. Samar calls Nandini his Miss LOL and Bapuji as Cool Dude. The cutest of all is Anupamaa calling Anuj Shayar Kapadia and Anuj calls GK (Gopichand Karodia) as Mummy. Often Anupamaa calls Vanraj as Mr Shah instead of his name.
In the show Pandya Store, Suman has some unique names for her bahus as Dhara is Bhagaudi Ki Beti, Rishita is Patrani, Raavi is Kagdi ki bhatiji or the new one Maarkundi Gaai. Whereas the family members fondly call Gautam Gombi but Suman calls him Peticoat Chhap and Prafulla Kagdi. Prafulla calls Anita Champak and the most adored duo Raavi and Shiva call each other Mami ki Behen Ki Beti or Chipkali and Mera wala Bhootnath.
Talking about Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali Raghav Rao has names for everyone, Pallavi as Saree Ka Dukaan, Amrita as Chipkoo ladki, Sulochana as Bada Bindi, Mansi as Chota Bindi, Mandaar as kabristan se utha hua laash, Vijay Deshmukh as Sanki Buddha but Pallavi has the most adorable name for him Ghamandi Rao.
Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin adds to the list with Kaku calling Sai Jangli Mulgi and Sai's cute nickname for Virat as khadoos jasus. Could we miss out on Imlie calling Aditya Babu Saheb haaye how cute?
