Iqbal Khan bags lead role in an untitled film

Sanjog Se Bani Sangini star Iqbal Khan has bagged a lead role in an untitled Bollywood film. The shooting for the flick begins next month. A source tells us, “Iqbal Khan who has earlier done films like Fun2shh…Dudes in the 10th century, Bullet – ek dhamaka, and Kucch Dil Ne Kaha has bagged his first film as a male lead. This film is yet to be titled. It’s a love story which will see two new faces as female leads. Shahbaaz Khan will be playing an underworld don in the film whereas Usha Bachchani will be playing Iqbal Khan’s mother. The shooting for the film begins in August 2011.The film will be shot in Ireland. It will be directed and produced by Arshad Khan.” We tried getting in touch with Iqbal Khan who remained unavailable, but Shahbaaz Khan confirmed the above-mentioned details.
