Veteran writer, director and producer of more than 90 films in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi, K. Balachander will be on <em> Koffee with Anu</em> on Vijay TV.
From being an amateur dramatist to the producer-director legend that he is today, K. Balachander has crossed several milestones. He made his directorial debut in 1965 for the film<em> Neerkumizhi,</em> which was based on one of his plays.

From being an amateur dramatist to the producer-director legend that he is today, K. Balachander has crossed several milestones. He made his directorial debut in 1965 for the film Neerkumizhi, which was based on one of his plays.
A rare and successful exception, in providing thought provoking films in commercial mainstream cinema, K. Balachander is an inspiration to most upcoming filmmakers today; speaks and shares the winning formula to the next generation on the show. He has the uncanny ability to spot talent and is credited with discovering and introducing Rajinikanth and Kamalhassan.
This legend shares his thoughts with Anu Hassan. Along with him actor Charuhassan who has acted in popular films speaks about himself and recalls the nostalgic memories. Tune into Idhayam Mantra Koffee with Anu to know more about these living legends on 2 August, Saturday at 9.30 pm on Vijay TV.
