Kangana Ranaut to unveil Pratigya

It’s possibly the first time a B-town actress will unveil a TV show. Kangana Ranaut will be introducing Pooja Gor, the lead protagonist of Star Plus’s Pratigya when the show launches in Delhi. Informs a source from the industry, “This is apparently the first time a Bollywood actress will introduce the protagonist of a show. Kangana will introduce Pooja to the media. Kangana is also slated to talk about the show as she relates to it. She and her family had been through a trying time when her sister was injured in an acid attack, so she feels for the show’s protagonist who too will go through rough phases in her life. This is the channel’s marketing strategy to promote the show in a unique style.” Producer Pearl Gray of Spellbound Productions however sounded clueless about the entire strategy. She said, “I have no idea. You must speak to the channel on this.” Vivek Bahl, Senior Creative Director Programming, Star Plus, said that the channel will revert through their PR or Marketing team but at the time of writing no official confirmation had come in.
