Lost Boy Productions to launch Warrior High on MTV

Lost Boy Productions, which has created a niche for itself when it comes to the youth genre in the Indian television space, has been commissioned another show on MTV.

The production house helmed by Vikas Gupta (cover pic), has shows like MTV Webbed, Gumrah, The Serial, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Yeh Hai Aashiqui in its kitty.

The new MTV show titled Warrior High will bring back the amazing feel of 'school' and 'hostel' life once again on TV. Said to be one of the most interesting youth shows ever on TV, it will launch from 16 February as a daily.

Talking about the cast, MTV Splitsvilla contestant Ashwini Koul will play the lead along with Anshuman Malhotra who was last seen in Yeh Jawani Ta Ra Ri. He also played the young Shahid Kapoor in the much acclaimed movie Haider. Juhi Aslam will play the female lead along with newcomer Sanaya Pithawala.

The show will be based in the school named Warrior High and these school kids will be headed by the strict yet lovable Principal played by Suhasini Mulay (Everest).

The series will air Monday-Friday at 7 pm. This would be the first daily from the production house.

Vikas Gupta confirmed the development.
