Mohit Chauhan left with one singer less

Mohit Chauhan will find himself one member less in this weekend episode of Music ka Mahamuqqabla . Neekita Nigam, one of his teammates is out of the show on medical grounds. The hunt for her replacement is currently on and in a few days’ time, Chauhan will be ready and back with his full team. A source informs, “Neekita suffers from bronchitis and her doctors advised her to take complete rest for three weeks. She thought if she failed to perform, her team will be affected inadvertently. So she decided to back out of the show and apologised to her captain Mohit. The episode will air this weekend probably on January 10. Mohit is still looking out for a replacement.” Chauhan said, “We are yet to seal Nikita’s replacement. Neekita was the chupa rustam from our team. She is very talented and the team members had just started knowing each other. I am trying to bring in a replacement as good as Neekita, who will also gel well with the rest of the members.” The celeb guests this weekend are Genelia D’souza and Shahid Kapoor who had come to promote their upcoming flick Chance Pe Dance. Our source says, “Shahid was a true showstopper. He tried his hand at singing on the stage. He sang with both Mohit Chauhan and Mika. Both Genelia and Shahid were extremely co-operative and sporting and Shahid even reported to the shoot before the stipulated time. Watch this muqqabla this weekend at 10 pm on Saturday.
