Star Plus’ next big launch was supposed to be Nandita Mehra and Bhairavi Raichura’s big-ticket show based on the lines of the international series Missing. In fact, the team recently shot for a promo which was supposed to go on air very soon.

However, we get to hear of a new development here. As per sources, the show has been shifted from Star Plus to its sister concern, Life OK.

A source states, “Star Plus has actually put the show on a hold at the moment - the reason being that, all their existing shows are doing well and the channel cannot take the risk of ending one of their popular shows to make way for a new show. This decision has been taken also considering the concept of Missing which has everything in it to do well on Life OK.”

As we know, Missing has a great ensemble cast starting from Bhagyashsree Patwardhan, Rajeshwari Sachdev, Eijaz Khan, Ayaaz Khan, Adita Wahi, Jiten Lalwani and Jay Kalra.

When contacted, Producer Bhairavi Raichura said, “Well, I cannot comment about anything right now. We are in talks, and I will be able to confirm things in a week’s time. As of now, we continue to shoot.”

We dropped a text message to Ajit Thakur, Business Head, Life OK, but did not get any revert.
