MUMBAI: Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the most popular and longest running television shows. Soon the viewers will see Palak Sidhwani in the show, playing the character of Sonu. Palak has done many ads and short films in the past. This is her first show. For the uninitiated, Nidhi Bhanushali essayed the character of Sonu in the show. Nidhi quit the show to pursue higher studies. The makers were looking for her replacement, and now after all these months, they have found their Sonu. A source from the sets told SpotboyE.com that Palak has already begun shooting for the show. Nidhi's exit from the show was planned. The makers depicted that her character is leaving India for higher studies. The portal further reported that she will be back in Gokuldham Society, obviously with a new face as the replacement.
