For the third successive week, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009 has witnessed a shock elimination with Rewa’s Pratibha Singh Baghel failing to make the cut.
Confirming the news to us, a little birdie from the sets informs, “It’s disappointing to see such a talented singer go out. Asma, Debojit and Pratibha were earlier touted as the three finalists. However, all of them have been eliminated in a span of three weeks. Pratibha was the sole contender from Shankarji’s (Mahadevan) gharana, thus we won’t be seeing him in the show till the final. Pratibha’s elimination leaves us with three contestants - Vaishali Made, Yashica Sharma and Shoumen Nandi.”
Meanwhile, this week Bollywood legend Dharmendra was the special guest on the show. This is probably the first time that one is getting to see him in a reality show. “Dharmji kept every one in splits with his witty one liners. When one asked him about the actress he most admired during his days, Dharmaji was quick to say the he’s never looked beyond Hema Malini,” sighs our source.
Viewers can catch Dharmendra in Saturday’s episode but before that one will have to witness poor Pratibha going out on Friday. So, tune into Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009 this weekend at 10.00 pm on Zee TV.
