MUMBAI: Former WWE champion, The Great Khali is going through a tough time. His mother Tandi Devi passed away on Sunday due to multiple organ failure at Ludhiana’s Dayanand Medical College and Hospital. She was 75.
She was suffering from breathing issues for two years. Earlier she was being treated at a private hospital in Jalandhar. Last week, she was shifted to Ludhiana and was put on a ventilator. Her last rites will be performed on Monday in Himachal Pradesh. As soon as the news of Khali's mother's death broke out, heartfelt condolences started pouring in. While offering his respects, Former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav tweeted, “My heartfelt condolences to Dalip Singh Rana, The Great Khali @greatkhali, on the sudden demise of his mother, Tandi Devi ji. May her soul rest in peace.”
