The actor said, “People meet me at events and tell me, ‘he is a television actor’, but I don’t understand this bifurcation because all actors should be treated as one, as creativity is everywhere. We release episodes every day because the audience wants to see and demand it. People are watching television actors. But I get very angry when I hear someone say he is a television actor and he won’t be able to do OTT or Bollywood movies. My blood boils. Like, who is anyone to judge that? We are working day and night proving ourselves, and in spite of that we are being judged; not fair.”
Well, there is no doubt that many television celebrities have spoken about the disparity between television and Bollywood actors.
Very few television stars have made it big in Bollywood, for example Vidya Balan, Shah Rukh Khan, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, and some others are the few names that have been able to make it to the movies.
