MUMBAI: On Friday night, the shocking news of actor Pracheen Chauhan arrested by Malad East Police for molestation charges spread like wildfire.
The actor was taken into custody after a 22-year-old girl, who is also working in the showbiz industry, alleged him of touching her inappropriately in a drunken state.
Pracheen was presented to the Borivali court on Saturday afternoon and was later granted bail.
On getting in n touch with Pracheen yesterday morning to know his side of the story, he revealed to the leading daily, "I don't want to talk about the matter right now as I am devastated and I need to speak to my lawyer also before I comment on the matter. For now, I can just say obviously it's a false case and I will be telling the real story very soon by releasing an official statement.".

When we asked him if the girl's story has any truth, he added, "When I have the whole clarity on it, I will tell what is the true story.".
Meanwhile, earlier on Saturday, Prakash Bele, Senior PI Kurar Village police station, Malad (East), said, “The complainant along with a friend was invited by the accused to his residence on June 30. The accused was drunk and touched her inappropriately. He was produced before the Borivali court today and has been granted bail.”.
