Sidharth Shukla doesn’t agree that TV actors are sidelined in Bollywood

MUMBAI: Actor Sidharth Shukla who is one of the most popular faces in the television world has also done a Bollywood film with stars like Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan titled Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, which released in 2014. Though Sidharth's work was appreciated by the audience, we didn't see much of him in the films and he ended up making a comeback with reality shows on TV. Sidharth not only played the main lead on popular shows like Balika Vadhu and Dil Se Dil Tak but won the top title in popular reality shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 and Bigg Boss 13.

Now when a big debate is going on about TV actors not getting accepted in Bollywood, Sidharth comes out and gives his opinion on the same. Sidharth, who has explored both the mediums really well, revealed to a portal in a recent conversation that he never felt that TV stars are sidelined in the film industry. "I don’t think so. There’s a place for everyone and I feel that it all has to do with your calibre. The medium hardly matters; it's more about your passion and where it takes you.” 

Answering what he is planning next after winning the controversial reality show, Bigg Boss, Sidharth said, "Exciting work, new challenges….you shall know soon!"
