MUMBAI: Sumona Chakravarti is a well-known actress in the telly world.

She is known for her roles in many movies and TV shows.

The actress has appeared in shows like Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi, Kasamh Se, Jamai Raja, among others.

Well, it is famous casting director Janet Ellis Prajapati who gave a break to Sumona.

In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Janet spoke at length about the same.

Janet said, ''I gave her the first break when she was a kid. She was hardly an eight-year-old kid when I gave her a break for the film Mann. She was very adorable. Sumona played one of the kids on the ship.''

She further added, ''After that, she also did a couple of advertisements with me. She did a lot of work with me when she was a kid.''

Sumona achieved the next level of fame with her impeccable comedy skills in Comedy Nights with Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show.
