MUMBAI: Star Plus has recently launched a new presentation, Mehendi Hai Rachne Wali based on Pallavi, a young widow, who is a family-oriented woman. However, when she crosses paths with a money-minded businessman, their personalities clash and sparks fly.

The show features Shivangi Khedkar and Sai Ketan Rao in lead roles and is produced by Sandiip Sikcand. The show recently released a fresh promo and we must say, the drama looks promising.

The promo showcases how Pallavi handles Deshmukh saree emporium and is a widow. She lives with her mother - in- law and witnesses some female customers who visit the shop with their mother-in-laws often cribbing of how their mothers are better in many ways that the former. Pallavi is seen narrating that the difference between ‘mummy’ (mother) and ‘mummy ji’ (mother-in-law) is just a matter of a small ‘ji’ however, for her, her mother-in-law is like a mother to her and that she would never leave her or get re-married.

The promo is relatable to most women who find this difference in their day to day lives. The characters are like a breath of fresh air and are a visual treat to the eyes!
