MUMBAI: Piya Valecha is an amazing actress who has done quite some popular shows in the likes of Baalveer, Hamari Bahu Rajni_Kant, Chandranandini, Hum Paanch Phir Se, Saam Daam Dand Bhed among others.
In conversation with Tellyuchakkar.com, Piya shared that she wants to explore with her characters. She shared, “I want to play roles which are not only glamourous and have an impact. They should have substance. For that matter I would love to portray negative and grey shaded characters. The medium doesn’t matter as long as the roles are performance oriented.”
We also asked Piya about actors resorting to suicide during the pandemic.
Piya elaborated, “You have to cut off with a lot of negative people and alter your lifestyle by minimizing your expenses. That is the first key as if you do not live in a house you own and are not with your family, you have to be around positive people. Also, comparisons put you down so one needs to remember that the competition is with yourself. From an actor’s point of view, we live in so much anxiety and stress about whether we will get the kind of work we want, will the audience accept us and love us etc.”
