MUMBAI: Remember the brutal terrorist attack on Peshawar's Army Public School on December 16th, 2014, in which more than 148 people, most of them children, were killed? At that time, not only Pakistan, but the whole world, including India, felt the pain and sorrow.

TellyChakkar has exclusively learned that Ullu App is making a series on the brutal attack.

According to our sources, 'The web-series, which is tentatively titled Peshawar, is a terror-based love story, which will revolve around people who were involved and killed in the terrorist attack on an army-run school of Pakistan.'

We got in touch with Ullu's CEO Vibhu Agarwal. He said, 'After Halala, Panchali, Mona Home Delivery, and #MeToo, we are coming up with another interesting series. Although it is based on Peshawar's terror attack, we are also exploring another angle, which as of now I won't be able to reveal.'

When quizzed on why he chose to make a series on terror attacks in Pakistan instead of the Mumbai blasts, Uri, or Phulwama, Mr. Agarwal said, 'Honestly, I wanted to make a series after the Uri attack happened. I was also keen on producing a series on the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. But since both the terror attacks have already been explored, I decided to drop the idea and chose the terror attack on Peshawar. It was a heart wrenching and devastating terror attack. I still wonder how someone can kill innocent school-going kids? It's been around 5 years, but the wounds are still fresh. Last year, when someone suggested that I produce something on it, I immediately decided to give the green signal.'

Ullu is a streaming platform that allows the audience to watch a wide variety of web shows, films, and exclusive Ullu series.
