MUMBAI : Imlie is one of the most loved and successful shows on television, being among the top 4 shows when it comes to the BARC ratings. It is produced by Gul Khan under 4 Lions Films, it formerly starred Sumbul Touqeer Khan, Fahmaan Khan, Mayuri Deshmukh, and Gashmeer Mahajani. It was a loose adaptation of the Bengali series Ishti Kutum. It stars Megha Chakraborty, Seerat Kapoor, and Karan Vohra as the second generation. The story has taken a significant turn with Aryan and Imlie’s death and Imlie season 2 starting. We saw a huge leap in the show after which Imlie and Cheeni are all grown up.
Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke was a romantic drama television series that was a spin-off of Star Plus's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. It starred Rhea Sharma and Shaheer Sheikh. The show gained immense attraction and love from the audience. It was produced by Rajan Shahi under the banner of Director's Kut Productions.
The two shows have something in common and it is their director that is Ashish Shrivastav. It was his birthday recently and the birthday celebration was graced by Imlie actors as well as Yeh Rishte Hai Pyaar Ke. It was an evening full of smiles and laughter. Talking about the shows, Yeh Rishte Hai Pyaar Ke did extremely well on the TRPs and gained immense love. Imlie on the other hand is also doing well and people are loving the track. Currently, the show is focussing on the life of Atharva and Imlie post-marriage where Chini is trying to sabotage their life and draw Atharva towards her.
