When I shifted next to my sister's house

Bhairavi Raichura
A page from the personal diary of Bhairavi Raichura I have a younger sister Jigna, who I am very close to. I consider her to be one of God's special gifts to me. I have been very caring and protective to her since childhood. I was always against the idea of her getting married and shifting to another place, but it had to be done some day. We were living in Borivili a few years ago, when she got married and shifted to Vile Parle. I was so sad, lonely, and heartbroken that I could not sleep and eat for days together. I used to cry all the time and find chances of going and meeting her. Even Jigna was missing me and we both used to cry talking on phone. Jigna's in-laws soon started looking for a spacious house as the family was not small any more. They finally zeroed upon a 4BHK in Thakur Village, Kandivli and Jigna came much closer to Borivili. I used to meet her very often but always complained to God why he made a rule for daughters to get married and leave their parents and siblings. God has always been kind to me and this time he again gave me a reason to smile. I too managed to buy a house in Thakur Village and now Jigna and I stay in the same locality. She is just two buildings away from me and my parents and I meet her every day. I feel so happy and emotional when I think about it and I could not have asked for more. I love the fact Jigna is now very close to me and we can catch up whenever we feel like.
