It’s pandemonium yet again on the sets of Life OK’s Nagarjuna – Ek Yoddha.

Producer Yash Patnaik’s fantasy fiction drama for Life OK, Nagarjuna – Ek Yoddha has always been marred by controversies, and the over-ambitious project has failed to deliver good ratings and has fallen way beyond the expectations of viewers.

We have had the never-ending saga of actors contemplating to quit the show owing to their creative disappointments. Examples are ample enough, with Pooja Banerjee, Nikitin Dheer and many others being upset over creative developments.

We now hear of lead actor Anshuman Malhotra, our very own Arjun, apparently facing the music for low ratings

Why do we say so?

Well, our inside sources reveal to us that Anshuman was actually warned by Yash few days back, where he asked Anshuman to raise his bar of acting.

Our source reiterates, “Anshuman is a decent enough actor, and has been toiling hard to live the role of the super hero. Recently, there was an incident wherein Yash apparently blamed the boy for the low ratings, and ordered him to up his ante.”

Also, post the incident, the production house silently started auditioning actors to replace Anshuman.

Our source further states, “Anshuman was kept in the dark about the entire replacement scenario. However, it has been a fact that the hunt for the new Arjun has started few days back.”

We now hear that the channel and production house are apparently looking for a better built personality to play Arjun.

The buzz actually is that talks have been happening with Ruslaan Mumtaz for the lead role.

Our khabroo states, “Though there is no confirmation yet on the replacement, the channel and maker are keen to rope in Ruslaan, considering his good physique and mass appeal.”

We buzzed Yash for a comment, but did not receive any revert till the time of filing the story.

When contacted, Anshuman told us, “Well, neither have I been warned by the Producer, nor have I been told by them about my replacement. In fact, we had a meeting today evening to discuss the work to be done over the coming month. There was no mention of anything like this at all.”

We could not get through to Ruslaan.

Our efforts to get a confirmation from the channel proved futile

Who do you think should be the next Nagarjuna? Is it fair to blame Anshuman alone for the low ratings? Drop in your comments below..
