MUMBAI : Indian actress Vaibhavi Shandilya works majorly in South cinema but gained popularity after making her debut in the Marathi movie Janiva. After this, she became a part of an ensemble cast of the Vidya Balan starrer biopic ‘Ekk Albela’ based on the life of Bhagwan Dada.

In 2016, a year after starting her career with a Marathi movie, Vaibhavi appeared in an Egyptian Arabic film ‘Gahem Fe El Hend’ where she was seen as a dancer in a special song called "Tak Dhinna".

As she signed on to appear in two Tamil movies, ‘Server Sundaram’ and ‘Sakka Podu Podu Raja’, the latter became her Tamil cinema debut while the former released in 2018. Thanks to her popularity, she got to star in another Tamil movie Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu the same year. Her last Tamil movie was Capmaari in 2019.

She also made her Kannada debut in 2017 with the Kannada movie Raj Vishnu and her last movie was a Kannada movie Gaalipata 2 starring Ganesh, released in 2021. 2017 was a year where she did not just make her Kannada debut but also Telugu debut with the movie Next Nuvve. The actress is soon to be seen again in the upcoming Kannada movie 2024.
