MUMBAI: Koffee with Karan is a Bollywood chat show. The biggies of the Industry grace it and interact with the host Karan Johar.
The show has had six successful seasons, and now it is back with the seventh season.
The show didn’t stop, but was initially aired on Star World. It streams on Hotstar now.
The last season was a huge success with celebrities coming on the couch and bearing their heart out.
A new season has begun and the show is doing exceptionally well. It is gaining good viewership this season.
In the latest episode, veteran actress Neetu Kapoor and Zeenat Aman graced the show, where they spoke about the times of 70s, discussing their careers and personal life.
On the show, both the actresses spoke about their bond with Rekha and Hema Malini.
Neetu Kapoor said “Really don't know how it started. She was just a very friendly person. She is a very sweet and warm person. She would just drop by without informing me. So, she was just like one of those girls, and she was very funny. She would do a lot of mimicry”.
On this Zeenat Aman said “The friendship with Rekha just happened, no one took an effort. She used to often come to my home at Nepean Sea Road. We used to talk and that’s how the friendship started."
When asked about Hema Malini, Neetu said “She is so sweet and lovely to talk to. Once I bumped into her with my two children and her kids were also there and they were very small, maybe around 4 – 5 years and that’s when she asked me what would your kids become when they grow up and I replied saying I don’t know they are two small to say anything. In not time Hema Malini replied saying that both if her daughters want to join the film industry and become actresses''.
On the other hand Zeenat said “ I adore Hema. She is such a brilliant actress and a lovely person to talk to. I am so found of her”.
