MUMBAI: Rajkummar Rao has played a number of different characters in films. The actor has won everyone over with roles ranging from playing a terrorist in ‘Omerta’ to Pritam Vidrohi in ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi.’ Rajkummar, who has a background in theater, made his film debut in 2010 with ‘Love Sex aur Dhokha.’

Rajkummar Rao has repeatedly demonstrated his versatility as an actor and once again he will be seen in a unique character in his upcoming project which is going to be a biopic.

Earlier titled ‘Sri’, the movie is a biopic based on industrialist Srikanth Bolla. The movie now has a new title ‘Srikanth’ and also gets a new release date – 10th May, 2024. The Rajkummar Rao starrer movie is directed by Tushar Hiranandani. Other than Rajkummar Rao, the cast of the movie also includes Alaya F, Jyotika and Sharad Kelkar.

Rani Mukerji - Black

Rani Mukerji gave one of the most memorable performances of her lifetime in this Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie. Rani Mukerji played the role of a blind while Amitabh Bachchan played the role of her teacher. The movie released in 2005 and us still loved by the audience.

Yami Gautam, Hrithik Roshan - Kaabil

The on-screen couple gave one of the most heart-touching performances where Hrithik Roshan ruses up to take revenge from his enemies. The movie was directed by Sanjay Gupta and released in 2017.

Naseeruddin Shah - Sparsh

The actor is known to play some of the most complex roles and for playing a blind in Sparsh, he even received a national award. The movie was directed by Sai Paranjpye and released in 1980 where he was paired opposite Shabana Azmi

Kajol - Fanaa

This 2006 romantic thriller featured Aamir Khan and Kajol where the latter played a blind and gave us all goose bumps with her performance. This Kunal Kohli directorial is still remembered as one of the finest romantic thrillers.

Sanjay Dutt - Dushman

Sanjay Dutt is usually known for his gangster roles but in this movie, the actor was seen using his action skills in a unique way. The played a blind in this movie and the audience really loved this side of his. This 1998 thriller was directed by Tanuja Chandran.

Deepika Padukone - Lafangey Parindey 

A movie that needs more attention here as Deepika Padukone played a blind and was paired opposite Neil Nitin Mukesh. This 2010 Pradeep Sarkar directorial was a romantic sports movie loved by all.

Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Arjun Rampal - Aankhein 

This has to be one of the most memorable movies where blind characters were used for robbing a bank. Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Arjun Rampal played 3 blind men who were trained by Sushmita Sen and Amitabh Bachchan. This movie was released in 2002 and was directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah
