MUMBAI: Ram Kapoor and Gautami Gadgil are the most popular couple in the television industry. They were first met on the sets of the show Ghar-Ek Mandir. Initially, they did not consider dating, however, their pair on the TV show earned love from the audience. However, their love blossomed when she tried to play Cupid on his behalf.

Before getting married they went on a few dates, they married on February 14, 2003. They love the banter and surprising revelations on social media making them the epitome of a couple's goals.

Gautami took a break from her acting career in 2015 to give more time to her family. In previous interviews, she revealed that she does not find any supporting role exciting. However, she marked her return in 2020 with Special Ops, a web series along with three more OTT shows planned for her to release in 2024.

Gautami revealed while talking about her coming back to the screens in an interview with the popular news portal that now she can focus on her career as her kids have already grown up. Moreover, Gautami jokingly mentioned that she asked her husband if he could retire.

She stated, “This year you will see me in not one, but three web shows. In fact, I have already completed shooting for my third show. My kids have grown up now, my daughter (Sia) is 18 and my son (Aks) is 15. So now, I am all set to focus on my career. I believe it is my time to work now and I am back to it. I am going to kill it. I have told Ram that he can retire now while I will work (laughs). I am in a good headspace work-wise.”

Ram and Gautami have always spoken highly of one another. And their never-ending love and support are easily noticeable in each of their public interviews and social media posts. Earlier, in an interaction for his show, Zindagi Ke Crossroads, Ram revealed how his darling wife, Gautami, helped him shape his career.

He explained, "The reason why I am doing so well professionally is Gautami; it's only because of her. I am really lucky to have a wife from the industry who understands how it works here, and who understands the pros and cons of the industry. She never asks me why am I working late at night or traveling a lot. She just understands me so well. She has taken on the home front so well, she manages the kids so well and that lets me put my best in my career. I couldn't have done it without her."

Ram Kapoor and Gautami never leave a chance to head turns by taking a dig at each other. Moreover, many times we have seen Ram complain about not getting enough attention from Gautami. According to him, she is mostly found pampering their furbaby.

Ram felt jealous of their dog when he saw his wife feeding him with her hand. The actor shared a video on his Instagram handle. Gautami also had a chance to take her revenge. However, Ram himself shared a funny video of his wife, Gautami showing her mobile's lock screen.

In the video, it was seen that Ram recorded Gautami's reaction, as she was unable to control her laugh and said, "Haye main sadke jawan."

Alongside the video, Ram penned, "My wife is trying to take revenge for all the times that I have irritated her with the videos that I have shot."

Ram and Gautami are still aware of how to maintain their lovely relationship even though they have been married for 21 years.
