What Bollywood is doing and wishing for this Diwali
Prabhu Dheva: “I am in Chennai with my children for Diwali. Nowadays with my schedules being what they are I hardly get time to visit Chennai to be with my children. Diwali for me is family-time. For the rest of the year I am too busy in Mumbai to catch up with my life in Chennai. This Diwali I wish I’d spend all my Diwalis with my children. And if I could have a second Diwali wish I’d want R... Rajkumar to be a hit.” Ayushmann Khurrana: “I am in transit in Frankfurt on the way to Dallas for my concert. So this year it’s a working Diwali for me. I wish Laxmi Mata would knock on my door this year.” Sharman Joshi: “I will be going to Aamir Khan’s home for a Diwali party. I’ve no particular thoughts this Diwali except to wish for peace on earth.” Tapsee: “It’s a working Diwali for me. I am shooting for Running shaadi-com in Punjab.” Manish Paul: “I’ll be here in Mumbai only. This year I won’t be with my family in Delhi.” Nimrat Kaur: “As usual I am home in Delhi for Diwali. I make it a point to be here every year for this occasion. We don’t play cards on Diwali night, just invite family and friends for dinner . Gifts are exchanged. Lots of delicious mithai from the best shops in Delhi. Love and laughter all round. I wish everyone to have a safe Diwali. Burst less crackers, and add as little to the pollution as possible. Find natural ways of lighting up the house and have a beautiful time.” Tiger Shroff: “No celebrations this year for me. I’ll probably follow my usual routine.” Raveena Tandon: “There will be Laxmi Pujan and dinner with the family and close friends. After that I’ll be at Aishwarya’s and Abhishek’s for her birthday-cum-Diwali celebrations. For Diwali I wish everyone would do something that would bring a smile to the face of someone in distress. Don’t light crackers, light up a life.” Hema Malini: “I had a dance recital for Dhanteras. Then I plan to spend the Diwali weekend with the family.” Lilette Dubey: “Going for a warm family dinner where there will be large amounts of ghar ka khana. I am ready to put on some kilos every Diwali. I have a simple Diwali wish. I want to see some grandchildren soon. Nihar Pandya: “There will be a Diwali lunch with the entire family. I’ll attend only a couple of Diwali parties and that too close to home, so I can spend as much time as I can with the family. I don’t play cards. At this point of time I think I should just lay all the bets on me. My Diwali wish is to see my grand-dad get well soon.” Ronit Roy: “I will be attending some card parties. But I won’t play cards. My Diwali wish is to bring a smile on a loved one’s face.” Rati Agnihotri: “My son Tanuj is hosting a Diwali party. And I’ll be involved with that. Diwali is all about being with your loved ones.” Sonu Sood: “I’ll be visiting some friends for Diwali and attending their card parties. Hope I win too. I wish everyone would have reason to celebrate Diwali.” Sachiin Joshi: My Diwali celebrations started on Thursday evening when I attended Ekta Kapoor’s Diwali party. On Saturday evening I am hosting a Diwali party in my home. My Diwali wish is that my film Jackpot becomes a hit.” Honey Singh: “This Diwali I am home with my family. No cards parties for me because I don’t gamble. I wish for world peace and moksha for my soul.” Ram Kapoor: “I’ve taken my children to Thailand for their Diwali break.” Neha Dhupia: “I have a super-hectic fun-filled weekend lined up with friends and family. I wish everyone would be with family and friends this Diwali.”
