Is Bollywood gearing up for another hot affair? Well, looks like it. If a popular daily is to be believed, that is. According to the daily, B-Town newbie Athiya Shetty and ladies’ man Arjun Kapoor are apparently a thing. 

It’s said that the two were spotted sharing a rather comfortable vibe at a close Bollywood friend’s photo exhibition. Hmm. 

But a source close to the couple has come out in their support to the daily. “They were at a photographer's recent exhibition with other friends as well. It was not just the two of them. Pictures were clicked while they waited for their cars, and the media hinted that they were seeing each other. It's really bizarre. Her only close friends in the industry are Sooraj Pancholi, Tiger Shroff and his sister Krishna,” the source mentioned to the daily.

Arjun has had a spate of link-ups so far, but he hasn’t confirmed or denied any of those. In fact, he was alleged to be seeing Salman Khan’s sister Arpita and there were nasty rumours of him having an affair with Sallu’s siter-in-law and bonafide Bolly hottie Malaika Arora Khan as well. Phew. 

Moreover, there were hints of Sonakshi Sinha and Arjun being more than just friends on the sets of their action flick Tevar. Even though the Sona-Arjun connection was said to be a publicity stunt, we are wondering what this new linking with Athiya is all about! Well, there’s no smoke without fire…no? 

But the source has categorically denied the link-up to the daily by saying, “Athiya has been close to Arjun's sister Anshula long before she entered the industry. They have known each other for years and they meet up practically every week. They are good friends. Athiya knows Arjun because of Anshula and not vice versa. He is Anshula's brother for Athiya and nothing else.” 

On the professional front, Arjun is gearing up for R Balki’s Ki & Ka, a fun take on genders and role reversals. Athiya, on the other hand, had a lukewarm beginning in Tinsel Town with Hero.
