MUMBAI: "They wanted their children to be in a more steady profession that has less ups and downs," says Aamir Khan while sharing that his parents never wanted him to enter the film industry!

Aamir Khan is indeed one of the biggest and the finest superstars in the nation. While he has delivered some of the biggest blockbusters of all time, he also enjoys a massive fan base across the globe. We as an audience indeed have always adored his craft and personality which is indeed a reflection of his on-screen and off-screen persona. However, becoming an actor isn't something that Aamir Khan's parents want as the superstar revealed during his visit to 'The Great Indian Kapil Show'.

Aamir Khan is one of those superstars who rarely goes to any reality show. Fans eagerly await to see him talk about his films and personal life and the dream came true when he recently visited 'The Great Indian Kapil Show'. On the show, Aamir Khan opened up about how his parents were strongly against him entering the film industry. He said, "I did backstage for a year and a half and also did 2 Plays. My parents and my uncle were huge filmmakers themselves. But he was opposed to the idea of his children entering the film industry and the reason behind that was the film industry is highly volatile. You never know if you will succeed or not. They wanted their children to be in a more steady profession that has less ups and downs. So they were strongly against it."

While Aamir Khan's parents were against him entering the film industry, however, he became the biggest superstar and is ruling the hearts of millions today.
