MUMBAI: Anushka Sharma is one of the biggest names in the Hindi film industry. She made her debut with 2008 release Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, but not many would know that before she was finalised for the Shah Rukh Khan starrer, the actress had auditioned for 3 idiots.
This revelation was done by the actress herself in a behind the scenes video shared by the makers of PK. Rajkumar Hirani directed 3 idiots and PK, and both the movies featured Aamir Khan in the lead role. Anushka was seen in PK, and in the behind the scenes video, Anushka showcases her 3 idiots audition video to Aamir and Hirani, and they are reacting to it.

In the audition for 3 Idiots, Anushka recreated the climax scene of Munna Bhai MBBS in which Gracy Singh gave a monologue. Well, the video left Aamir and Hirani surprised, and the former asks the filmmaker why she was rejected.
Well, it didn’t happen in 3 idiots, but finally, in PK Anushka teamed up with Aamir and Hirani.
Anushka has been in the industry for 14 years and has been a part of many successful films. She has also proved her mettle as an actor. The actress’ last release was Zero, and later she went on a maternity break. However, Anushka is now all set to make a comeback with Chakda 'Xpress which will premiere on Netflix. The movie is a biopic on Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The actress’ fans are eagerly waiting for Chakda 'Xpress.
