After Kangana Ranaut called Karan Johar the flagbearer of nepotism on his show Koffee With Karan, it has become a burning topic of discussion. Every celeb was asked their views on the subject. Some agree that Bollywood promotes star kids. At the same time, star kids agree that they are privileged, but only talent survives. In an industry where big directors give priority to star kids, one such outsider who has successfully made her mark is actress Anushka Sharma.
Anushka made her debut with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi opposite SRK. Subsequently, she has given many hits like Band Baaja Baarat, Badmaash Company, PK, Sultan, NH 10, and the recent Sui Dhaaga.
While talking to an entertainment portal, the actress was asked about nepotism. She said that she has had enough of this topic and many people are already talking about it.
She further started saying that whether she is working with actors who are star kids or those who are not, the effort is the same from both. She further makes a valid point by asking why we blame star kids. If one has to blame someone, it should be people who are responsible for nepotism. She says nepotism does exist but has become a conversation to which further value cannot be added.
This year, Anushka was seen in two films: Pari and Sui Dhaaga. She has another release titled Zero in December, in which she stars alongside her Jab Tak Hai Jaan co-stars Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
