MUMBAI: Deepika Padukone, who tied the knot with Ranveer Singh this year in a grand way, shared some interesting facts about her husband and their relationship.
In an interview with a publication, the Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat fame actress spoke about their first meeting. She said that she met him for the first time at an awards show in Singapore.
Speaking about the time when she first felt that he was special, she shared, ‘I was at Yash Raj. He was also there and was flirting like it’s nobody’s business. He was dating somebody else at this point and I was smiling to myself. I told him, “You are flirting with me.”’
Deepika also shared that their most special moments were during the preparation of the film Goliyon Ki Raas Leela: Ram Leela at filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s house.
She said, ‘Sir called us over for lunch and we were eating, and apparently, there was a piece of crab stuck in my tooth and he wanted to make me awkward and he said, “Oh, there’s a crab stuck in your mouth,” and I said, “Then take it out.” That moment all three of us won’t forget.’
