Farah Khan’s special gift for newlyweds Deepika and Ranveer

MUMBAI: Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone got married in a fairytale wedding, Konkani style, at the picturesque Lake Como, Italy, yesterday morning. Before leaving for their wedding, the couple made sure that they meet important industry people who have been mentors to them. They met Farah Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali during Diwali. Farah, who has been a mentor to DP, had a surprise planned at her place. She had a special gift in mind for the couple, and for that, she called her friend and celebrity casting artist Bhavna Jasra.

Jasra made Deepika and Ranveer clasp their hands in clay and preserved that moment of togetherness. The memento will be presented to the couple. Jasra said that it was a magical moment setting their everlasting love permanently in something as tangible as clay. She thanked Farah for involving her in their love story.
